UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT:   Nestled on the top of the Great Dividing Range, not far from the beautiful garden city of Toowoomba, and five minutes from the treed village of Hampton (South East Queensland Australia) sits HIBISCUS HEALTH HAVEN established in 2000.This fourteen hectare Retreat boasts beautiful mountain, sunset views, Saltwater Swimming pool, 8 person Spa, Steam Room,Vibrosaun,Walking tracks,Orchard, Vinyard, Organic/Biodynamic vegetable and Herb gardens,  an abundance of Birdlife and Wildlife. Our climate is temperate so we are able to grow a large variety of fruits from Peaches to Mulberries, Citrus,Grapes,Carob, Olive, Bananas, and Paw Paws to name a few. Our accomodation facilities include four Themed Suites, (two are wheelchair friendly),  Guest lounge and dining, undercover outdoor area for Alfresco meals, Boche, Table Tennis, Bike riding, guest laundry and Treatment rooms.

            We pride ourselves on you not being lost in a large group and receiving personalised care, privacy and peace during your healing process.  We have a koala release area just a short enjoyable walk down the road.   The land and gardens are treated with the same respectful, non-toxic practices as we treat ourselves.  Our healing system is amongst the most comprehensive and in depth available,(Mind, Body, Spirit, Environment, Attitude and Grace.  A wholistic approach also including information in  three main elements to achieve lasting improvement in health and wellbeing.......

You will enjoy sumptuous organic, gourmet vegetarian meals and juices during your stay.  If you are Vegan or have some other special dietary requirement we will also be able to cater for you. 

We have a wonderful range of culinery herbs, vegetables and fruit right here on the property.  At Hibiscus Health Haven we even make sure that the seeds sown into the soil are from open pollinated, non-genetically modified sources and that sustainable practises are used at every level.   

We supplement our own fresh produce with those of local, certified organic farmers.  This helps to support our local economy and ensures that you are receiving the freshest food possible with the least amount of "food miles".  These are some of the reasons as to why seasonal produce is better.   You do not have to have produce that is grown on the other side of the earth and then flown/shipped across the oceans and roads to reach you.                                                                                                         

Our alfresco dining area (pictured right) is a delightful outdoor undercover area which overlooks the salt water pool and panoramic mountain views.  The sunsets from here are fabulous and quite often our resident green tree frogs will oblige you with their company.   

From the time of your arrival, until the day of your departure you will be sharing the world we live in each and every day.  If you enjoy original art and music you have the opportunity to take part in some informal and enjoyable lessons as part of your stay.  

Your journey at Hibiscus Health Haven begins in our refurbished reception area (pictured below left).  You may get a little side-tracked on the way over the entrance ramp if you love small birds.   We have  large numbers of birdlife such as blue fairy wrens, fire-tail finches, honeyeaters, double-barred finches and many others using the fish pond (pictured below right)  as a bird bath and social area.  Quite often (depending on the time of day), you will be able to soak up the sunshine and simply watch the many coloured fish enjoying their lotus and reed sanctuary.  It is quite relaxing and addictive.   

On our celebration evenings you will also be able to enjoy entertainment with a difference.  Toowoomba is a city of many cultures and we aim to represent this through supporting local and diverse entertainers who have delighted people of all ages over the years.   Hibiscus Health Haven is about new beginnings and preserving with respect all the gifts that nature has given us.  We look forward to sharing this wonderful sanctuary with you as you begin the first day of the rest of your life.
